    DRIFT is a collection of sculptural pieces inspired by glaciers and natural earth formations the artist observed during pivotal voyages to Patagonia.

     

    In six works, Drift attempts to capture the simplicity and elegance of the natural world. The forms and palette are inspired by distant horizons, alluding to mass, boundlessness, and aerial perspectives suggestive of faraway lands and timeless ecologies.

  • This collection juxtaposes elements that are meticulously polished with those that are less controlled. The Drift mirror is comprised of cast sand which echoes glacial formations and a flat plane of mirror which recalls the calmness of the ocean. The focal point of the collection, the sofa, comes together in a poetic mass of classic upholstery and sharp-edged sculpting techniques.
